Compassion Connection
|
Compassion is reflected in the heart of Jesus. It should be a function of the Body of Christ. The Compassion Connection exists to provide a link between those willing to serve and those in need. Bearing one another's burdens is the ministry of every mature believer. The Compassion Connection consists of the Grocery Connection, Acts of Kindness, and the Budget Coach Connection. If you are a member or regular attender and need assistance, please fill out the online application or come into the church office and ask for one. These applications are turned in to the Compassion Connection Team who reviews them on Tuesdays. You will recieve a response the same week. For more information, please call Concepcion Harris in the church office at 661.945.7902.

Acts of Kindness
|
The Acts of Kindness Ministry targets poor families or single parents who cannot afford to pay someone for small construction projects or other needs. Volunteers are always needed to help with these projects. There is no experience necessary. If you would like to volunteer, have questions, or would like to make a monetary donation, please call Mitch Varner at 661.270.0635.

Grocery Connection
|
The Grocery Connection helps members and regular attenders with groceries on a one-time basis for special needs and occasionally, to meet the needs in the community when a family faces a crisis.
We have an on-site food pantry that is supplied with groceries given by the church family of Central. In addition, the Grocery Connection utilizes volunteers on a rotating basis to augment supplies from the pantry. The only responsibility is to have extra name brand groceries on hand. If you would like to volunteer, please call Dave & Cathy Spellmeyer at (661) 718-0911.

Budget Coach Connection

Budget coaching provides biblical financial counsel in a confidential setting, utilizing principles that are taught in Crown Financial Ministry studies and seminars. Practical instruction is given on how to apply these biblical principles to one's personal situation and includes topics such as earning, saving, investing, giving, and getting out of debt.
