Magnify
In everything thing we do we must give God worship and Magnify Him. Every other M points to this one. In fact everything our junior high group does is in hopes of Magnifying Christ. The other four M’s combined with singing, studying God’s Word, and everything else we do are strategies to Magnify God and give Him worship.
Multiplying
When we bring new students to Christ we are Multiplying His Kingdom. We are not content with having a youth group consisting of churched students. We are passionate about bring the lost to Christ. Many events we have like the movie nights, summer parties, and others are done in hopes of Multiplying His Kingdom.
Mentoring
While we know that we have a great junior high preaching team, we recognize that one sermon a week is not enough to mature a student in Christ. That is why we make an effort to Mentor students outside of the junior high services. We mentor students by having several small groups all throughout the week and by building healthy leader-student relationships.
Meaningful relationship
God desires us to have friendships. A common myth is that a Bible has to be read or songs have to be sung for something spiritual to be happing. When students are loving each other they are giving glory to God. Our junior high group creates opportunities for students to make friends.
Ministry
Our group looks outward for ways to serve outside of junior high group and church. Many of our students volunteer with the children’s program. We also desire to serve outside of Central into our schools, low income areas, and outside the United States.
