After-School Teen Center
|
The After-School Teen Center is when we open our church to the Lancaster High School kids on a twice weekly basis. Based on the turn out, this meets a huge need and is a great opportunity to show these kids Christ’s love. We hold basketball tournaments, play ping-pong, foosball, and video games and more.
Where: Worship Center in the church
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm (volunteers need to be there from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
Because of the number of students we are trying to reach, we are in great need of volunteers to help this vision and dream become a reality. We need help with registration, running the snack bar, monitoring rooms and games, running the sporting events, and just hanging out with the kids.
I urge you to prayerfully consider being a part of this vital ministry to our community, whether you volunteer your time or donate games (in good condition) such as foosball or ping-pong tables, etc. Whatever you decide, please pray with us…for the kids and for the impact we can have on their lives.
